::Sunset Bungalows is a dated at best 3 star resort, rooms are dark, linen is old and rooms falling apart. The green pool is filled with a hose and I don't believe they have discovered chlorine. Food is hit and miss but mostly a miss. The kayaks are terrible and you can not swim or snorkel in the lagoon. On a positive the views are good, you can fish off the balcony and most staff friendly.

::I have have sent my 72 year old sister-in-law to this resort and am absolutely amazed at the service and friendliness of the managers and staff. She was arriving late at night and very concerned about getting to the hotel, they have put themselves out to arrange pick up and security to escort her to her room. They have organised all her tours and activities for her. I had emailed them to enquire about her and received a reply within a few minutes. I have never received such courtesy from any other resort. Good on you Sunset Bungalows, keep up the good work.

::The airlines cancelled all flights to Vanuatu due to the airstrip surface condition and refunded my money, but SUNSET BUNGALOWS declined any refund causing us two pensioners,( I am 82 and could not get travel insurance) to loose all our annual holiday money. They could at least have offered a later holiday. WHAT AN OUTFIT. Norman Taylor

::If you are after a place which is for adults only, then the Sunset Bungalows is the place to be. Each room is roomy and comfortable. Beds are comfy as well. Each room has a water view. Swimming pool located on the grounds and you can even rent a kayak! Outside the restaurant and bar area you can enjoy a cocktail while you watch the sun go down. The meals are really good as well. Staff are wonderful. I would highly recommend this property if you are coming to Vanuatu.

::We stayed here for one week and enjoyed every day of it! The staff is very friendly & helpful, the restaurant's menu is not huge but is sufficient and serves delicious food (furthermore breakfast was included!), the bungalows are clean and provide a great lagoon view. In addition to that the hotel offers help organizing trips & tours, free loan of reef shoes, kayaks, courtyard, swimming pool, etc. Our verdict: Loved it, can recommend it, will come back!
