::We had lunch at Lea’s place today and it was a great local experience! We hiked from Mt. Yasur which was about two hours. The food was yummy and fresh. We had an omelette with tomatoes, rice and many vegetables - all very flavourful. Additionally we got some lime lemonade which was a nice refreshing surprise after the hike. Lea even helped us out to get transport back to our stay at Mt Yasur. Thank you Lea & family for the great experience!

::Lea is so nice and welcoming, she will need a bit of notice if you’re going with a big group. Food is great and cheap. If you’re dining bring some sort of illumination to have a better experience. They appreciate any donations such as glass jars or plastic containers. Her sister in law makes great bread too.

::Leah is a wonderful host at her nearby properties and cooks delicious fresh and cheap meals. Her restaurant even has some small locally crafted souvenirs sometimes!

::Having walked through volcanic ash for miles and miles I was craving good food - and found Leah's place. She prepared a chicken curry for me that I will never forget, it was absolutely divine. Thank you, Leah :)
