::Had an amazing day tour back in August 2023, exploring the site and the bat cave. Also the bar/cafe you take the boat from has some great local dishes to try like Simboro. Hidden gem, 100% recommend visiting if visiting Espiritu Santo Island.

::Today’s tour was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the stunning crystal-clear waters and a mesmerizing view that set the perfect tone for the adventure ahead. The entire place is a paradise—lush greenery, a refreshing cool breeze, and crisp fresh air that instantly fills you with tranquility. One of the highlights was the Bat Cave Tour, which exceeded all expectations. On our way there, we encountered charming ducks, roosters, and hens, adding a touch of rustic charm to our journey. We even indulged in fresh organic cocoa—a delightful treat that was rich, smooth, and incredibly tasty! Approaching the entrance of the Bat Cave, we were in awe—it was truly an incredible sight. Stepping inside was surreal, as we watched thousands of microbats fluttering around, creating a mesmerizing dance in the dimly lit cavern. Observing them in their natural habitat was both thrilling and fascinating. After the cave tour, we ascended to the lookout point, and the view was nothing short of breathtaking. Gazing back at Santo, we were met with an awe-inspiring panorama that made the journey even more special. The scent of the tropical forest lingered in the air, adding a refreshing touch to an already unforgettable experience. This tour is a must for nature lovers and adventurers alike! It seamlessly combines scenic beauty, fascinating wildlife, and immersive exploration, leaving you with memories that will last a lifetime.

::We recently stayed at freshwater plantation. Our host Josephine and her team were amazing. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The room, food and location were excellent. Josephine really goes above and beyond for all guests.

::My partner and I came to Freshwater Plantation for dinner on one of our nights on Aore Island. We had the chicken parma and nasi goreng - both meals were soooo delicious! Vny was so friendly, she told us a bit about the history of the plantation and gave us tips about what to explore in Santo. We didn't stay at the plantation this time around (maybe next time!) so Vny kindly took us on a romantic boat ride back home

::Really enjoyed our day trip here while staying on other side of Aore island. Lovely tour of the plantation with the young lady guide who was very nice & everyone enjoyed the bat caves. We got too see a big orb spider too. The owners were very welcoming and we ate lunch after the tour in the restaurant. My partner and daughter had beef ribs which they enjoyed very much. My younger daughter had pizza and ate the lot. Swimming there in the sea was lovely with privacy and good shade. Would highly recommend this trip if you're in Aore, but even if you're on the main island, it would be a nice excursion with ferry trip over. Would be nice to stay in a guest room there. Good wishes thanks for having us :-)
