::Stayed at Iririki Island for a week with a friend. We had such an amazing time there - this was our first time in Vanuatu. All of the staff were so kind and helpful, and eager to give suggestions or answer any questions needed. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. The little boat was amazing - came every 3 minutes and it was approximately a 2 minute little ride (maybe less) to the mainland. Shops right across the road and markets just a 10 minute walk up the road. The breakfast buffet was great (we ate the fresh food and did not feel sick which was a bonus). We also ate at both the main restaurant and the restaurant by the 2nd pool and both of them had quite good food and different options. The pools were lovely (though not heated), there were tennis courts at use, paddle boards and kayaks, pool table, table tennis, and our favourite - the snorkelling cove where we spent a lot of time either relaxing or exploring underwater. The one downside I would say, which makes sense as we were on an actual island, but we got given one of the far rooms and it was about a 6 minute walk from reception/ the boat to our room - but we got our steps up each day (so not terrible).

::We recently stayed at the Iririki Resort in a Premium Overwater Bungalow for over $500 per night, and while the location and staff were fantastic, there were several aspects that made our stay less than perfect. Pros: Friendly and Attentive Staff: The resort's team was welcoming and made us feel at home. Everyone, from check-in to housekeeping, was friendly and accommodating. Great Breakfast: There was a large variety of breakfast options, and the omelettes were a standout. Fresh, tropical fruit was abundant, making for a great start to the day. Water Taxi & Dining Options: The water taxi service was smooth and quick, and we were pleasantly surprised by the fantastic restaurants within walking distance on the mainland—definitely worth checking out. Comfortable Room: Our room was always clean, and the bed was comfortable, which is crucial after a long day of travel. Cons: Late Room Availability: We arrived at around 1:45pm after a long travel day, but our bungalow wasn’t ready until nearly 4pm. This was a bit of a letdown, especially after a tiring journey. Late Checkout Denied: While we requested a late checkout at 12pm due to a late flight, we were only granted 11:30am. It felt a bit rigid considering the circumstances. Expensive, Watery Cocktails: At over $20 AUD per cocktail, we expected more. Unfortunately, the drinks were very diluted and didn’t offer the quality we anticipated for the price. Limited Dining Options & No Room Service: We had heard that the food was average, so we decided to skip lunch and dinner at the resort. For the price per room, we were also disappointed to find that there was no room service available. Difficult Resort Navigation: Getting around the island is a bit of a hassle. Everyone we spoke to mentioned the need for golf buggies to make the resort more accessible, especially in the heat. The resort is very spread out and hilly Lack of Attention to Cleanliness: On one occasion, we noticed a plate and glass left outside a room for two days, which doesn’t give a great impression of the resort’s upkeep. Non-Functional Ceiling Fan: There’s a lovely ceiling fan in the bungalow, but we were disappointed to find out it was purely decorative. We were hoping to have the doors open with the fan running to enjoy the sound of the water, but instead, we had to use the air conditioning to stay comfortable. Snorkelling was nice but I would recommend taking your own equipment. Summary: While Iririki Resort offers beautiful views, a friendly staff, and a nice variety of breakfast options, there are some notable areas for improvement, especially when it comes to service flexibility, food and drink quality, and accessibility within the resort. For the price, we expected a bit more overall. That said, if you’re looking for a relaxing, scenic getaway with great staff, it’s still worth considering—but be prepared to manage some inconveniences.

::Overall, a very pleasant stay. The highlight being the staff (and management)., Very professional, great attitude, and good organization. Let down a bit by the quality of the buffet breakfast. Poor quality bread and lack of variety of cooked food. Could do with more kayaks.

::We had the most amazing stay at Iririki Island Resort & Spa!! The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The facilities were spotless and beautifully maintained, and the food was absolutely divine. The location is pure paradise with amazing views and a truly peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect tropical escape, and we can’t wait to return! Highly recommend!!

::The Iriki Resort is a quite nice experience. The activities in the hotel are outstanding, such as the snorkel and the kayak/paddle board. However, the very best of this resort is its staff by far. Everyone was so nice, welcoming and friendly, it really made the experience something unique. Particularly Lydia was the absolute best, the best way to start the day is seeing her smile and recommendations, so charismatic! On the other hand, it would be positive for the rooms to have some updates and modernization, but overall it is okay.
