::Etienne and Lin are great hosts, going the extra mile everytime. Honest, accommodating and knowledgeable. The bungalows are wonderful, traditional construction, amazing view over the sea and outlying islands. This os probably your best bet and best contact in northern Malekula.

::We were only supposed to stay for 2 nights at Nawori Bungalows, but in the end, we stayed for almost a week! And we were crying when we had to leave......Having lived in Vanuatu for many years, we are used to staying in bungalows, but this one is our favorite! We traveled as a family with two young children and a baby, and we felt as though we were welcomed like part of the family! The bungalow is very spacious (4 bedrooms), and there’s a lovely local bathroom. The view is absolutely stunning, and the meals are delicious! There are plenty of activities to do, so don't worry about getting bored (visit Paradise islands Wala or Rano, swim with Dugongs, beautiful snorkeling etc. To summarize, we wholeheartedly recommend to visit this place for experiencing the true "Slow Life" style in Vanuatu!

::When we were visiting, the place was really messy. There was trash everywhere (in the garden, on the beach), the campsite we were offered smelled like pee, the shower did not have water and the toilet stank. The kanu was broken and there is no real beach to take a dip. The small coves around the guesthouse are full of trash. So everything you can do is take tours or stroll to the next village. The staff was completely overwhelmed, dinner took ages and was quite average. The owners were very helpful to organise transport.

::Can’t find the words to describe this wonderful homestay. I booked the night before (which is quite last minute for Vanuatu) and asked for a pick up at the wharf. I was a bit nervous if things would work out, but Rose was already waiting there for me and gave me a very warm welcome. On the way there you pass a lot of villages and can see peoples everyday life, far away from tourism. The location is in the middle of the Dschungel, in a very authentic village Nd has a beautiful sea view. Etienne did some tours with us (Small Nambas, Wala Island & Cannibal Site) and they were super interesting and educational. He told us about his tribe rules, traditions, history, life etc and was open for all questions. On the way there he would always point out trees and plants and explained us, what they are used for.. and also let us try some fruits that we found on the way. Another highlight was the food. There was always fresh lemon juice & fruits on the table (tastiest grapefruit i ever had!) on the table and Rose and Lyn cooked delicious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, including a traditional laplap. Wifi was available too and worked well for such an remote area. They really did everything to make as comfortable and feel at home. Thank you guys so much for this unforgettable experience. A must do in Vanuatu !

::Thanks to an amazing couple who own Nawori Sea View Bungalows, we had a fantastic time. Our Bungalow overlooked the water, we saw Dugongs swimming past, and the water is amazingly warm and clear. Lyn’s banana pancakes, so delicious as was her homemade coconut jam. Etienne went out of his way to share his customs, culture and locality. We definitely got more than we expected. If you’re wanting a truely ‘local’ experience then I fully recommend a stay here with Etienne and Lyn.
