::Wow! What a find this was. From the very first welcome, which was superb, our stay here was fantastic. The quality, organisation & attention to detail doesn't go un-noticed. The gardens you walk through to your accomodation & the beaches are all very well maintained. 👌🏻 The beach front bungalow was just as described & all we could want. The owners really do care & the staff are just fantastic, I can't praise the staff highly enough, they were so welcoming, friendly & helpful. 👍 To the gents who made my cocktails each evening, you are stars, Michelle, Manson, Rocky & Masio, thank you & I hope to enjoy another Aore Island Ice Tea again soon. 👌🏻👍👌🏻 Now, the food, oh, wow, the staff behind the scenes in the kitchen truely are magicians. The lobster dishes & boy, oh boy, the crab too are some of the best tasting dishes I have ever had. I've eaten all around the globe, in Europe, Asia, Central & Latin America & the food here is as good as some of the best restaurants I've eaten in anywhere 100% 👌🏻 The bungalow was very clean & the daily room service was excellent. We had a fantastic time at Aore Island Resort & would 100% recommend it to anyone. The snorkeling just in front of the resort is good with an abundance of marine life to see. There are paddle boards, kayaks & bicycles free for guests to use. I couldn't fault Aore Island Resort in any way. To the owners & staff, THANK YOU! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

::Terrible experience. Do NOT go there. On their website, they promote day guests for lunch. We called the day before to book for lunch (2 adults, 2 kids). We were told they were fully booked, which was OK. Although, I ended up walking past the resort after my dive with Aore Adventure & and Dive (which I highly recommend). It was 12.15. There was literally no one at the restaurant. I was the only person there. I had no explanation as to why they had refused our booking other than Customers will be arriving soon... I have discussed with half a dozen people on the island, and most had negative things to say about this resort and how they treat people. We did not stay there, but having travelled a fair bit in the Pacific Islands, I would definitely not recommend this place. More than 500 AUD a night, you can get much better places in Santo for cheaper. It looks outdated, and the beach is nothing special. Beaches are much better on Santo. Do yourself a favour and book somewhere else.

::Gorgeous place and beach. Got the ferry at 11.30 and it worked all good. You can just stay there if you have lunch. Really recommended.

::A Very BAD Visitor Experience at Aore Island Resort I recently visited Aore Island Resort with my children, who are here on holiday. I had heard that the owners were quite selective about who they allow into their resort, but I wanted to give it a try. Upon our arrival, we ordered four milkshakes, which they kindly provided. However, during our visit, there was a moment when I overheard an expat woman, who appeared to be one of the owners, questioning, "What is he doing here?" A staff member responded, "He came earlier with his family." Shortly after, a waiter approached us and informed us that we needed to leave because they were fully booked. I didn't know if this was true as there was really not a lot of people staying there. When I went to pay our bill at the bar, the male owner ignored my presence entirely. It struck me as quite rude and unprofessional for someone in the tourism industry. Even while my kids and I were swimming in the pool, the male owner walked by without a word, displaying a look of total disappointment on his face. Moments later, his wife walked by with a similar look, further adding to the uncomfortable atmosphere. I had been informed that the owners of the resort preferred not to welcome locals, and if you called to inquire in Bislama, entry would likely be refused. This experience left a sour taste, as we felt unwelcome in our own country. As owners of YTS, a platform that reaches millions of followers across the Pacific, I felt it was important to share our experience regarding the treatment we received at the resort. As someone who values inclusivity, it was disheartening to witness what appeared to be a lack of respect for local patrons. The contrast between how locals are treated and how tourists are welcomed is stark, and it raises concerns about the resort’s approach to hospitality. I encourage the management of Aore Island Resort to reconsider their stance on local visitors and to treat all guests—regardless of race or background—with kindness and respect. It would be a valuable lesson for them and could improve their reputation in the community and most important, if you dont want locals then put up a sign. To my fellow locals, it may be best to choose alternatives for your leisure activities to avoid experiencing the same treatment we encountered.

::We have just left the resort and had an amazing week. Location is amazing. Perfect spot to wake up each day and look out at the water. Food was incredible and all the staff were polite and helpful. Highly recommended.
