::These guys are a farce. We are in Vanuatu for a couple of months and planned to hire a quad to spend a Sunday doing a lap of Efate, stopping at beaches, all that niceness. I looked on their website which has the price as 4000VT for 24hrs, about $50AUD, so I called and booked one. I rock down and they tell us the price is actually 4900 + a non refundable minimum insurance of 1500VT, making the actual price closer to $80AUD. Thats not how insurance works guys. If you take a security deposit and the bike comes back in the same condition you refund it in total. Since its essentially just more money in your pocket include it in the advertised price. Very misleading. At this stage we were still considering it since we had been really looking forward to it. We mentioned we only wanted to do a lap of the island about (135km), and were told we couldn't without incurring significant additional cost because there's a km limit. At this point i politely declined their rental and suggested they update the website to reflect actual costs and conditions. Otherwise its a bit of a rort.

::Had great fun with the quad bikes themselves. Rental process however was not great, staff weren't friendly and a little slow. We got 2 x 350cc bikes for 24h for 6,400 vt (~ 80 AUD) including the lowest insurance cover. Be aware that they charge ~ 35 vt/km once you get to 100 km and you have to return them refueled (probably ~ 1200 vt/15 AUD per 100km on one bike).
